Just believe

I have recently had many discussions with several people about personal creativeness. I truly believe that EVERYBODY has creative ability. All you need is a nudge! Get inspired and throw yourself into it. Last year I would have never guessed that I would be using a hook and yarn to make adorable comfy beanies and pretty headbands. If you would have asked me if I could create those works of art I would have laughed and said "Me? I don't think so!"

All I needed was a little inspiration, a bit of self confidence, and loving encouragement from my friends and family. Just believe in yourself ! Dabble in a few areas of art to figure out what is right and natural for you. I chose fiber art to start with and was lucky in finding my niche right away. Natural art is all around us. Mother nature was generous with her artistic ability, use her examples. That is how I feel about it anyway. Check out some of my new creations! Let me know what you think. Beanies

Welcome to Lolaz Thyngz Blog! I am so excited about starting up this shop and I have other fiber artists to thank (along with my children!). I was first inspired after visiting a local art festival. One of the galleries had wall to wall fiber art : Hats, shawls, purses, sweaters, and etc. After speaking with some of the artists I decided that I would love to learn how to make such adorable art. I like bright colors, I love fun fabrics and I try to show this in my work. I can whip anything up from infant hats to adults, I make scarves and little girl purses as well. I am currently working on making clothes for cats and dogs, our buddies need to stay warm in the winter too! Enjoy
